  VDHMA - Virginia Draft Horse and Mule Association
VDHMA was formed in 1978 to organize and promote the Draft Horse, Mule, and Donkey Industry in Virginia. Our organization has grown since to over 250 members who share their Links, knowledge, skills, and friendship in the promotion, enjoyment, and continued use of the "gentle giants" and their equine cousins.

  FNAR National Association for Donkey Trekking
FNAR is a non-profit organisation. It was founded by a group of "donkey enthusiasts" in 1990. It currently consists of approximately 80 centres. The FNAR has members over the length and breadth of France - from Brittany to the Mediterranean Alps, from the Jura to the Pyrenees.

  Wisconsin Donkey and Mule Society
To promote and improve the quality of donkeys, mules, and hinnies and related hybrids in Wisconsin. Assists members in improving their skills and knowledge of donkeys and mules, and their care, training, and handling. Educates and inform the public about the virtues and values of donkeys and mules for recreation and work.

  New Zealand Donkey Society
The Donkey & Mule Society of New Zealand is the only National Breed Organisation in New Zealand for Donkeys and Mules of all types. It administers the Donkey & Mule Society of New Zealand Register which includes miniature donkeys and mules. It provides up-to-date information on donkey care and practical advice on training.

  EIDSA - English and Irish Donkey Society of Australia
Promoting and preserving the breeding of the unique donkeys and mules in Australia. The English and Irish Donkey Society of Australia was founded late in 1976 by a small group of enthusiasts who had either imported purebred English or Irish donkeys from England, Ireland or New Zealand, or, who had the first generation progeny of these donkeys.

  American Council of Spotted Asses
The American Council of Spotted Asses has been publicized in numerous magazines throughout the United States and has also been featured on NBC's Today Show. ACOSA is an established donkey breed and the registered Spotted Asses, regardless of size, bring a premium price at the public sales and on the private market.
