Standardbred Canada is an incorporated non-profit organization whose mandate is to supervise, record, store and distribute information on all registered Standardbreds and to promote harness racing in Canada and beyond. • U.S. Trotting Association The U.S. Trotting Association governs the sport of harness racing for the entire United States. For administrative purposes, the membership is divided into 11 districts covering the United States. District meetings are conducted each year for the members to discuss industry issues, consider rule changes, and elect new representatives to the USTA Board of Directors. • Harness Horse Youth Foundation The Harness Horse Youth Foundation, established in 1976, addresses youth education throughout the United States and Canada. A non-profit organization, the Foundation continues to enlarge and improve its programs. Studying the Standardbred, College directory, Harness Racing Youth League, Annual Stallion Auction, Scholarships, News Releases, Careers, Day Camps. • International Trotting Association Few Objectives for which the Federation is formed are: To stimulate public and governmental interest in and develop and improve the sport of trotting; To ensure that uniform International Rules and Regulations concerning the export and import of trotting horses; To encourage and promote interest in the breeding, training and care of trotting horses. • New England Sulky Championship The New England Sulky Championship, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization created to promote Standardbred breeding in the six New England states and provide for the betterment of Harness Racing in general. • The American Harness Drivers Club, Inc The American Harness Drivers Club organizes amateur races at major racetracks in New Jersey. The AHDC conducts races at Freehold Raceway and The Meadowlands. Each year the AHDC organizes two pacing series at Freehold Raceway. At the end of the series, the drivers move to the Meadowlands for a $6,000 final. • Wales & Border Counties Harness Racing WBCRA is the original independent harness racing organization in Great Britain.
