• Information on South Russian Owtcharka The South Russian Owtcharka (SRO) is one of the 3 Owtcharka breeds from Russia. Originally the SRO came from the Crimea, which is in the Ukraine. The Russian word "Owtcharka" means sheepdog. The SRO is officially named Yoozhnorusskaya Owtcharka, but is usually called South Russian or Yoozhak for short. It is a large dog with very strong muscles. • Stabyhoun - Breed Description The Stabyhoun is a moderately long-haired dog with a longish shape and a characteristic long tail reaching the heels and with the outermost part bending slightly upwards. The Stabyhoun is a medium size dog; the ideal height is 53 cm for the dog and 50 cm for the bitch. The most common colour is black/white, but also brown/white or orange/white colours can be seen. • Sloughi Dog - Origins, Characteristics, Temperament While the Sloughi is very affectionate and loyal to his family, he is reserved towards strangers.
