Les males et les femelles se distinguent aisement par leur apparence et leur allure. • Detailed Description of the Schapendoes The Schapendoes, or Dutch Sheepdog, is a lightly built, lively dog. Although there are only a few Schapendoes still actually working with a large flock of sheep, as a household pet the breed does not deny its shepherding origin. The Schapendoes must be trained in a consistent manner. Start playfully, but be resolute. • Saarloos Wolfhond Pictures and Information The Saarloos Wolfhond breed is named after its creator Leendert Saarloos and was recognized as a new canine breed by the "Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied" in the Netherlands in 1975 and by the F.C.I. in 1981. The Saarloos Wolfdog is a powerful, wolfish coarse-haired dog. The male stands 65 to 75 cms, the female stands 60 to 70 cms. • Shiloh Shepherd Appearance In the process of selecting for specific characteristics, the Shiloh Shepherd has become bigger than their American German Shepherd predecessors.
