The Boxer dog breeds are compact and powerful. The Boxer is happy, playful, high-spirited, curious and energetic.

Alapha Blue Blood Bulldog - History
The Alapaha is believed to have its origin in a recently extinct species known as the Mountain Bulldog, Old Southern White and Old Country (Big) Bulldog. These dogs were first brought to America in the early 18th century. It, unlike its "English" counterpart, was continuously bred for utility and stamina, whether it be guard work, farm work, or as a family companion.

American Bulldog Dog - Breed Information
The breed's strength, courage, and familiarity with livestock led to its popularity in the brutal sport of bull baiting. When this sport was outlawed in England, the original type of Bulldog disappeared from Britain and was replaced with the shorter, stockier, less athletic dog we now know as the English Bulldog.

  About American Bandogge Mastiff
Do not be mistaken in considering this a purebred. It's studbook is not closed and from a breeding point of view, it is not a breed but rather a cross of some variation of Pit Terrier and some variety of Mastiff. This allows for incredible variations that make it more than difficult to offer any generalities.

  Boxer Breed Standard
The ideal Boxer is a medium-sized, square built dog of good substance with short back, strong limbs, and short, tight-fitting coat. His well developed muscles are clean, hard and appear smooth under taut skin. His movements denote energy. The gait is firm, yet elastic, the stride free and ground-covering, the carriage proud.

American Bandogge Mastiff Information and Picture
The word "Bandogge" is the generic name for any Bulldog Type Mastiff breed. The Bandogge has a very prominent musculature and an angulation that gives the dog a very athletic and agile look. Most are black brindle but others colors include black, blue, red, and tawny.
