  Korean Jindo Dog, The
The History of the Jindo Dog is unclear, as is the case with many purebreds. Some maintain that the Jindo, named for Korea's Jindo Island ("Jin" is the name of the island, "Jindo" means Jin Island, "Jindo gae" means the dog of Jin Island), where the breed is commonly found, were the dogs that accompanied Mongol Warriors who invaded Korea during the 13th Century.

  Finnish Spitz Breed Standard
The Finnish Spitz presents a fox-like picture. The breed has long been used to hunt small game and birds. The pointed muzzle, erect ears, dense coat and curled tail denotes its northern heritage. The Finnish Spitz whole being shows liveliness, which is especially evident in the eyes, ears and tail. Males are decidedly masculine without coarseness.

  About the Eurasier
The Eurasier is a hearty breed that does well in the great outdoors, but is a very social dog that loves to be part of the family. Eurasiers love children and family life, making them wonderful indoor dogs and family companions. Wary of strangers, Eurasiers make great watch dogs, although they are reserved rather than aggressive about it.

  The North Greenland Dog
The North Greenland dogs are of different colors, but the ones most commonly seen are gray, spotted white, and black haired. Dogs that are entrely white are also found in considerable numbers. The latter can hardly be distinguished from the white Arctic wolf that is chiefly found on the islands north of the continent of America.
