  Dog Breed Pictures: Chinook
The Chinook originates in the U.S. in early 1900s. Arthur Walden began breeding them looking for a sled dog with speed like a husky and the power of the larger sled dogs.

  Alaskan Husky Photo Gallery
This page contains pictures of other Alaskan Huskies than our own Lupus. The pictures are send to us by people we know or people who have seen this page. You can only see one picture of each dog on this page to save download time, but there are links to more pictures.

Modern History of the American Indian Dog
No one will probably ever know exactly what types of Indian Dogs every Nation or Tribe had, unless they were there at the time. With the amount of years that have passed there aren't any of the older Elders left who lived with The Dogs before white mans dogs began mixing blood with them, but with research and study all the pieces begin to fit back together.

Canadian Eskimo Dog Puppies Page - Photos
Canadian Eskimo Dog Puppies Page - Canadian Eskimo Dog Club of Canada Web site. The Canadian Eskimo Dog is a registered line of dogs from a regional type collectively known by various names, including Inuit Sled Dogs.

  Alaskan Huskies
The Alaskan Husky is not a breed in its own; it is more a type of dog. This might be a bit confusing, but to our knowledge the Alaskan Husky is not recognized as a breed anywhere in the world. The Alaskan Husky breed is very young and because of the different lines, it is difficult to characterize the dog in an uniform standard.

Chinese Foo Dogs - The Sacre Guardians
Foo Dogs are the ancient sacred dogs of Asia who guard Buddhist temples. The association between these dogs and Buddha is one of great significance. Foo Dogs have the appearance of a lion. The lion in Buddhist religion is seen as sacred, and has sometimes been offered to Buddha as a sacrifice. The name given to these guardians originates from China.
