  Spanish Water Dog - Pictures and Information
The Spanish Water Dog is a very old variety of the of the Barbet or water dog family. It should not be mistaken for either the French Barbet or the Italian Lagotto. Although there are three breeds of water dogs with a curly coat, they each have distinct differences in type.

  Stabyhoun - Breed Description
The Stabyhoun is a moderately long-haired dog with a longish shape and a characteristic long tail reaching the heels and with the outermost part bending slightly upwards. The Stabyhoun is a medium size dog; the ideal height is 53 cm for the dog and 50 cm for the bitch. The most common colour is black/white, but also brown/white or orange/white colours can be seen.

  Small Munsterlander - General Characteristics
The Small Munsterlander is for the most part easy to train and makes a great family companion. However it must be remembered that this is an active and intelligent breed so it naturally will require adequate exercise and mental stimulation when fully matured. This should include roadwork and swimming when possible. Most importantly hunting, hunting and more hunting.

The German Longhaired Pointer (GLP) is considered to be the earliest of the German Pointers.Copperplate engravings and oilpaintings from the 16th century shows longhaired gundogs of wachteltype in diverse types of hunting situations, both bird- and big game hunting. They were relatively small dogs with brown fur, broad heads and docked tails.

Country of Origin: Czechoslovakia. The Cesky Fousek is closely related to both the Drahthaar and the Stichelhaar, whom he resembles. The breed was very popular in the area of Bohemia between the mid-1800s and World War I but was almost lost during that war.
