• Havanese Club of America Created in 1979 for the purpose of forming a national breed club for the Havanese, the Havanese Club of America. One of the goals was to seek AKC recognition for our breed. At that time, there were nine members and the Havanese was considered a "rare" breed. Today the HCA has 400+ members and the Havanese is a member of the Toy Group with full recognition by AKC. • Havanese Club of Southern California The Heavenly Havanese Web site. This website was formed to bring together Havanese lovers in Southren California. Our mission is to educate the public about this rare breed. We welcome all Havanese owners both near and far. |
