Founded 1964 by Harold Wymore - Registration and Point System for Quarter Ponies. Today, 36 years later, the AQPA continues its slow-steady growth. With ponies registered in every state in the US and all provinces of Canada, as well as several foreign countries, Harold Wymore's greatest ambition in life is still going strong.

•   International Quarter Pony Association
The International Quarter Pony Association's primary mission is to record and preserve the pedigrees of International Quarter Ponies, to publish a stud book and registry, and to stimulate breeding, exhibition, publicity, sales and improvement of this breed.

The Western Quarter Pony Registry was established to serve Quarter Ponies and their owners in the Western United States, but ponies from anywhere are welcome for registration.
