• Iowa Quarter Horse Racing Association IQHRA is an organization of devoted Quarter Horse racing owners, breeders and enthusiasts, working as a group and dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Quarter Horse racing in the State of Iowa. The officials elected by its membership represent the Quarter Horse trainer and owners at the Prairie Meadow Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa. • New England Sulky Championship The New England Sulky Championship, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization created to promote Standardbred breeding in the six New England states and provide for the betterment of Harness Racing in general. • The American Harness Drivers Club, Inc The American Harness Drivers Club organizes amateur races at major racetracks in New Jersey. The AHDC conducts races at Freehold Raceway and The Meadowlands. Each year the AHDC organizes two pacing series at Freehold Raceway. At the end of the series, the drivers move to the Meadowlands for a $6,000 final. • Wales & Border Counties Harness Racing WBCRA is the original independent harness racing organization in Great Britain. We cover the southern half of Wales and the bordering counties of England, extending from the West coast of Wales as far as the English county of Herefordshire, and from Caersws in Mid Wales to Ammanford in South Wales. • Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association The Louisiana Bred Quarter Horse Breeders Association is the official registry of Accredited Louisiana Bred Quarter Horses as recognized by the State of Louisiana, the Louisiana State Racing Commission and the American Quarter Horse Association. Site offers racing news & information. • Ontario Sires Stakes The Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) program was established in 1974 with the objective to promote breeding of standardbred horses in Ontario and to provide economic incentives to breeders to improve the quality of the Ontario sired horse. The program consists of a series of races for two and three year old trotters and pacers, held at tracks across Ontario. • The Hambletonian Society The Hambletonian Society is a non-profit organization formed in 1925 to sponsor the race for which it was named, the Hambletonian® Stake. The Society encourages and supports the breeding of Standardbred horses through the development, administration and promotion of harness racing stakes, early-closing races and other special events. • Assault 1946 Triple Crown Champion The story of Assault, with the breeding of a champion in his bloodlines, is one that epitomizes the heart and courage of race horse. By Bold Venture and out of Igual, he became the greatest of King Ranch's major stakes winners, completing a racing career that brought eighteen victories and total earnings of $674,720. • Benny's Dip Grabs The Glory In an eerie repeat of their running together in last month's Sandown Classic Trial, Benny The Dip and Silver Patriarch flashed over the line together at the finish of the first £1 million Vodafone Derby, at Epsom. As at Sandown, Benny The Dip held a narrow advantage, his short-head verdict yesterday, in a desperate finish, being achieved on the nod. • Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association Cloverleaf S.O.A. is a non-profit organization, formed in 1960. Its membership consist of owners, trainers and drivers of harness horses participating in Maryland, as well as other interested parties involved in the Standardbred racing industry.
