The N Bar Ranch is a working vacation cattle ranch in southwest New Mexico. Cattle drives, cattle branding, and horseback vacations. World famous posse week takes you back to the old west gun battles. With only eight to ten folks here each week, we ride in small groups doing what needs to be done, or just horseback riding to be horseback riding.

Because the JX Ranch is a cattle ranch and not a dude ranch, we do require that Guests have some prior riding experience. Our horses are very gentle working ranch horses, but they are not dude horses.
